Our Elf, Sparkle, has been so creative this year. Every morning we are so excited to find her and see what fun adventures she has been up to. I thought I would share our favorites with you and your Elf to inspire you both! If you don’t already have your very own Elf, you can order one through Amazon by clicking here. I just learned about Elf On Shelf Scout Elves At Play Kit, click here to order from Amazon, it is filled with fun tools to help your Elf get more creative and to get into different positions and places.
Toasting Marshmallows: Our Elf got into our pantry, found a marshmallow and decided it was a good night for s’mores. She found our little flameless tea light candles, click here to order through Amazon, and went to town!
The Prankster: We woke up to find our Elf had played a practical joke on us. She used an erasable whiteboard marker to draw mustaches and and beards on us!
Mini Donuts: We had no idea that our Elf was such a clever baker! We woke up to mini Elf sized donuts made from Cheerios dipped in frosting and covered in sprinkles.
Elf In A Jar: Even though our Elf has played some pranks on us, she really is sweet and thinks about the children a lot. This morning we woke up to find her in a jar. At first we were concerned until we read her note. It explained that by her being in the jar, the girls could hug her, take her on a tour of the house and play with her all while not actually touching her so she wouldn’t lose her magic.
Polaroid Games: Our Elf hid in such a great hiding spot so she took a picture of herself in it and left it on the kitchen table. The girls had to look carefully at the photo in order to figure out where she was. It was such a fun treasure hunt for them! Click here to order this camera through Amazon. (Comes in different colors).
PlayDoh Games: Our Elf loves arts and crafts as much as we do. Overnight she had made this gorgeous Christmas tree out of play doh and gems.
Hanging For Candy Canes: Our Elf got a new kit of equipment that helps her climb, sit, swing and hang in new positions. She wore her suction boots to hang upside down here and her large candy cane hook to grab these candy canes from the jar. Click here to order the kit from Amazon.
Wall Climbing For Hot Chocolate: Our Elf used her new climbing equipment, click here to purchase the kit through Amazon, to get to the hot chocolate and marshmallows in a high cabinet.
Here she is the next morning enjoying the marshmallows she worked hard to reach.
‘Snow Angel’: In the past our Elf has done snow angels on our counter tops using Flour she found in the kitchen. She always gets really messy and makes a big mess at the same time. This year she took some of our rainbow rice, click here to learn how to make it, to make her snow angel and it turned out more colorful and far less messy!
Making Presents: After all, she is an Elf. She can’t help herself from decorating and wrapping gifts. Here she took some of the girls building blocks and wrapped ribbon around them to create small gifts.
Tic Tac Toe: Our Elf just loves to play games with us. Tic Tac Toe has to be one of her favorites. We wake up and she has set up the game. Throughout the day we will add our mark and when we aren’t looking she will take her turn. She is quite competitive!
